BANGOR – Erinne Magee scored 20 of her 22 points in the first half as the Bangor Rams ran to a 75-47 Class A girls basketball win over the Brewer Witches Friday night at Red Barry Gym. The Rams took a 51-16 halftime lead.

BANGOR – Erinne Magee scored 20 of her 22 points in the first half as the Bangor Rams ran to a 75-47 Class A girls basketball win over the Brewer Witches Friday night at Red Barry Gym.

The Rams took a 51-16 halftime lead.

Magee connected on four 3-pointers in the contest. Marissa McLeod added 19 points and nine rebounds for Bangor. Laura Clarke netted 11 points and Katherine Miller scored 10 points.

Rachel Wing and Carolyn McAvoy led the Witches with 13 and 10 points, respectively.

At Sawyer Arena in Bangor Thursday night, John Motta converted a Taylor Lynn assist with 28 seconds to play to give the Crusaders the win on Thursday.

Motta scored two goals and assisted on two more while Lynn had three assists for the 14-5 Crusaders of Bangor. Zach Means scored three goals and had an assist while Zac Greenier added a goal and Kim Meagher tallied an assist. Dan Leighton made 27 saves.

Jared Sylvia led the 7-13 Black Hawks with two goals. Kevin Carlton, Chris Austin and Taylor Hutchinson added a goal each while Ben Carlton and Chris Bither handed out two assists apiece. Brandon Carmichael and Brandon Lowe also had assists. Ryan Blanchette made 41 saves.
