NEWPORT – Nokomis High held John Bapst scoreless in the fourth quarter Monday night while securing a 45-26 Class A schoolgirl basketball victory over John Bapst of Bangor.
Danielle Clark scored 19 points and had eight rebounds for Nokomis while Michelle Murray contributed 15 points for the Warriors.
Meghan Sekera led John Bapst with 12 points.

Breanne Belanger had nine points for the winners, who raced out to a 15-2 lead after the first eight minutes and expanded it to 33-15 by intermission.
