Greg Patterson, Bangor Christian, junior guard, stole the ball from Washburn under its own hoop after a defensive rebound by swiping it toward the baseline. He then dove and slapped the ball back to a teammate before it could land out of bounds. Teammate Matt Conley caught the ball and zipped it to Josh Madden, who scored on an easy shot from the low post during the second quarter. It was one of several highlight-reel type of assists made by the Patriots during their 79-54 victory.
