FORT KENT – The University of Maine at Fort Kent will host the 2002 regional high school drama festival on Friday, March 8, and Saturday, March 9, in the Fox Auditorium. This is the first time UMFK will host this event.

Schools will compete in two divisions, with the top team in Division 1 and the top two teams in Division 2 advancing to the state competition on Friday, March 22, and Saturday, March 23, in Caribou.

Division 1 schools are Fort Kent, Caribou, Presque Isle, and Houlton. Division 2 schools are Wisdom, Madawaska, Van Buren, Limestone-Maine School of Science and Mathematics, Easton and Katahdin.

The competitions are at 7 p.m. Friday, March 8, as well as 1:30 and 7 p.m. Saturday, March 9. There is an admission charge of $5.
