ELLSWORTH – Maine Coast Memorial Hospital’s Health-Link, along with the culinary students of the Hancock County Technical Center under the direction of Brian Langley, will celebrate National Nutrition Month by serving a healthy meal.
The dining experience will be held at 6 p.m. March 20, at the Hancock County Technical Center, Boggy Brook Road, and is open to all community members. A special feature of the event will be Maine grown products such as blueberries, spinach, salmon and apples.
There will be a brief presentation by CeCe Ohmart, registered dietician, about using the color of Maine foods to enhance the presentation of a delicious and healthy meal.
Reservations may be made by calling Health-Link at 667-2474. A $6 donation will help defray the cost.
