In regard to the letter on wheelchairs (BDN, Feb. 27), I had a wonderful experience taking a 96-year-old woman who lives in my boarding home in Monson to the Bangor Mall. I left my driver’s license at the booth, got a wheelchair and we went all over the mall. If it wasn’t for the wheelchairs being provided, this 96-year-old woman would not have seen all the stores so beautifully decorated.
