BLUE HILL – The National Student Leadership Conference has selected Caleigh Keevan, a sophomore at George Stevens Academy, to participate in its conference on Law and Advocacy – The Trial. The conference will be from July 4-14 at American University in Washington, D.C.

The conference will develop leadership skills in the approximately 2,000 high school students from across the United States and 45 countries. The students will attend workshops and participate in a mock trial during which they take the roles of attorneys. Guest speakers, which in the past have included Supreme Court justices, will address the students.
