MACHIAS – The ethics director for the American Psychological Association will speak on “The Law, the Mentally Disabled and End-of-Life Care for the Elderly” at 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 20, at the University of Maine at Machias. Dr. Steven Behnke teaches psychiatry at Harvard Medical School’s Division of Medical Ethics.

At the same hour Monday, March 25, Dr. Henry T. Greely, a professor of law and genetics at Stanford University, will speak on “The Humane Genome and Genetic Testing.”

Both lectures will be at the UMM Performing Arts Center.

There is no charge for the lectures, which are open to the public. For information, call the UMM Advancement Office at 255-1284.
