PORTLAND – The Maine International Trade Center will sponsor two presentations this month involving business dealings with other countries.
The first, “Mexican American Seafood Seminar,” will be held from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Friday, March 15, in the MITC offices at 511 Congress St.
The program will include a report on U.S. seafood products in the Mexican market by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Agricultural Trade Office; an overview of the Gulf of Maine Fisheries; and an open panel discussion featuring a Mexican delegation in the retail, hotel and restaurant sectors.
The second session, “Building a Healthy Company Through International Sales and Sourcing,” will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday, March 28, also in the MITC offices.
This seminar is designed to educate businesses on improving their stability and profitability. Cost is $35 for MITC members and $50 for nonmembers.
