Orono High School graduate Kate Kovenock of Connecticut College was selected to the Division III All-American women’s swim team in the 50 and 100 freestyle.
She also swam in the 200 free at the Division III Championships in Oxford, Ohio. She recorded times of 23.67 in the 50, 51.51 in the 100, and 1:55.98 in the 200. She’s Central Connecticut’s first All-American female swimmer since 1991.
