I do wish public speakers over radio and television would stop talking about things “importantly” instead of simply, and grammatically, saying something is “important.”

Equally important is my desire that they pronounce “route” to rhyme with “root” and “rout” (if indeed they ever say it) with “out,” as my dictionary says they should.
