Princeton

A write-in candidate was top vote-getter for one of two seats on the Princeton Town Council.

Voters gave John Papke 95 write-in votes to Arthur Dolan’s 61 votes.

Incumbent Greg Monk was re-elected with 81 votes. Lonny Cilley, a second write-in candidate, received 35 votes.

Incumbent Vernon “Sonny” Wentworth was elected to another three-year term on the Princeton school board with 137 votes. He ran unopposed.

Incumbent Jackie O’Neill received 151 votes and will serve another year as the town’s tax collector and treasurer.

Town Clerk Grace Hiland, who sought another yearlong term, received 155 votes. The two ran unopposed.
