A rally to show support for the University of Maine hockey team is scheduled for Monday, April 1 at 12:30 p.m. in the Maine Marketplace, located in UMaine’s Memorial Union.

The rally, which will feature Coach Tim Whitehead and the Black Bear players, along with the UMaine band, will provide fans with the opportunity to salute the Black Bears on their outstanding season and provide an enthusiastic send-off on the day before the team travels to St. Paul, Minnesota and an NCAA semifinal match-up with the University of New Hampshire.

Black Bear supporters are also invited to Memorial Union to watch the April 4 game on television at the Stillwater Canal Company, located in the Union’s new addition. The facility will open at 12:30 p.m. and the game broadcast will begin at 1:30 p.m.
