In response to “Canada is at our door. Is Maine listening?” by Michael Gleason, (BDN, March 21): We are listening and watching. As a matter of fact, at this moment (5 p.m. , March 22) we are watching CTV news from Halifax, Nova Scotia. Should we prefer, we could choose to watch CBC, broadcast from St. John, New Brunswick. In addition, we can listen to the CBC on FM radio, either a broadcast from St. John, which is a mixed bag of talk and music, or another national broadcast of classical music. We prefer the program from St. John because their weather reports more closely reflect the weather we might expect to see here.
