Colin Shields

Colin Shields, a sophomore forward on the University of Maine men’s hockey team has been selected as the Hockey East rookie of the month. Shields had nearly a goal a game in March bringing his season total to 29 .

Ryan Adams

Ryan Adams, a senior pitcher at the University of Southern Maine, has been named the Little East Conference pitcher of the week. Adams had a complete game shutout against St. Thomas while pitching seven scoreless innings against Rhode Island College. For the week he allowed only seven hits, four walks and struck out seven in 14 scoreless innings.
