WATERBURY, Conn. – The University of Maine-Presque Isle committed five errors in each game Monday and Teikyo Post took advantage while earning a sweep of their baseball doubleheader.
Teikyo won the opener 10-2, then took the second game 6-1.
In the first game, Dave Adamantis led Teikyo Post with a single and a triple for two RBIs while Brian Hayes and Ryan Dickerman each added two singles.
Marcus Nadeau led UMPI with two singles.
In the second game, Adamantis and Jim Coleman each had RBI singles for Teikyo.
Chris Saucier had the Owls’ RBI on a single while Josh Berry hit two singles. Dustin Armitage chipped in with a double.
Steve Galkowski and Brandon Traknis combined on a four-hitter.

At Standish, Jason Harrington had two singles for three RBIs to help lead Castleton State (Vt.) to the win.
Jesse Kyhill had two singles and an RBI while Travis Bingham contributed an RBI double.
Jim Bevcar led Saint Joseph’s with three singles while Justin Lambert had two singles and an RBI. Lucas Hannigan chipped in with an RBI single for the Monks.
