A story about the Franklin town meeting published on the regional and local pages in the March 29 edition of Maine Day should have indicated that voters would consider a proposal to examine the possibility of drafting an ordinance governing the use of land set aside for the enjoyment of all-terrain vehicles, not a proposal to require that ATV users get permits.
Also, the story should have indicated that donations to out-of-town organizations were being requested by those organizations, not recommended by the Board of Selectmen.

A Page One story Thursday on the death of Bishop Edward C. O’Leary should have listed one of his sisters as Alice Daily of Belmont, Mass. Her name was spelled incorrectly in the story.
