FRENCHVILLE – The care and feeding of horses will be the topic of a clinic this spring held by University of Maine Cooperative Extension with the State Extension Equine Committee planning the event.
People who recently have purchased or are considering buying a horse will learn about horse health, routine daily care, pasture management and state regulations.
The session will be held from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, May 4, at the Frenchville Community Center. The cost is $5 for individuals and $10 for a family. Scholarships are available. Participants are asked to bring a bag lunch and beverages will be provided.
