AUGUSTA – April 21-27 is Crime Victims’ Rights Week and this year’s theme is “Bringing Honor to Victims.” The Department of Corrections Victims Services describes it as a time to reflect on the lives of the 26 million Americans who are affected by crime each year and those special individuals in our community who work hard every day fighting to secure and strengthen victims’ rights.
