FORT KENT – The University of Maine at Fort Kent will be the local host for the Hospice Foundation of America’s ninth annual “Living With Grief” teleconference from 1:30 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, in the Nadeau Hall teleconference center on the school’s campus.
“Living With Grief: Loss Later in Life,” a free, live-by-satellite video broadcast, will examine ways that professionals can better understand and respond to the needs of the older people coping with loss and making critical end-of-life decisions.
The program has been approved for three contact hours of continuing education by several professional boards. Although there is no attendance charge, there is a $25 processing fee for those seeking to obtain CEUs.
For information or reservations, call Dinane Nadeau-Saucier at 834-7800 or (888) TRY-UMFK.
