BERWICK – The Maine Hoops North 15 and under boys basketball team won the Youth Basketball Of America State Championship held over the weekend at Noble High School

Team members are Aaron Gallant and Jordan Heath of Bangor, Jordan Cook and Joshua McNutt of Hampden, Blaine Meehan of Winterport, Mark Socoby of Houlton, Bobby Gilbert of Beaver Cove, Matt Carey of Milo, Isaac Bell of Brewer and Joe Carmichael of Bucksport.

The team moves on to compete in the Northeast Super Regional Tournament in Springfield, Mass. this weekend.
