Eastler, who competes for the US Air Force, finished in 1 hour, 33 minutes and 51 seconds. He was about 11/2 minutes ahead of Artruro Huerta and Patrick Boisclair of Canada. Eastler’s win qualifies him for the USA Track and Field outdoor nationals in June.
Adam Staier, also of Farmington, won the 10K men’s junior division. Jasmine Brooks of Peru took the 10K women’s junior division. Both Brooks and Staier qualified for the USATF junior racewalk team, which will compete in June.
