WATERVILLE – St. Joseph’s College scored seventh runs in the sixth inning to overcome Thomas 14-7 in college baseball action Friday afternoon.
Andy Exley led the Monks of Standish with a solo home run and a double and Derek McIntosh hit two singles and had three RBIs. Jesse LaCasse hit a three-run homer and Lucas Hannigan belted a two-run shot.
Corey Pelletier tripled and singled while Travis Hotham doubled and singled to lead the Terriers. Buzz Simpson socked a two-run double.

At Leahey Field in Lewiston, Ben Donaldson’s grand slam to right field in the fifth inning paced the Bobcats as they defeated Colby.
Mike Kinsman pitched the complete game for Bates, allowing seven hits and one run while striking out four and walking two. Drew McKenna hit an RBI double, Adam Taranto had a ground-out RBI and Jason Pinkham scored on a wild pitch for Bates. Joe Johnson had an RBI single for Colby in the top of the seventh inning.
