Big School (Classes A-B)

Old Town’s senior third baseman drove in four runs with two doubles and a single, and pitched two innings of relief to help lead the Indians to a 10-2 win over Ellsworth.

Small School (Classes C-D)

The junior infielder-pitcher for Mattanawcook Academy led the Lynx of Lincoln to a big win over Sumner of East Sullivan with a three-run home run, a double, a single, and five total RBIs.

Girls

Big School (Classes A-B)

Morgan Crandall

Crandall, a Belfast junior, pitched the Lions to two wins last week, tallying 23 strikeouts and giving up six hits and three runs. She also had two singles, a double and three RBIs in one game.

Small School (Classes C-D)

Carrie Theoharides and Jesse Baker

Mattanawcook Academy’s first doubles tennis team has not lost a set so far, beating Schenck of East Millinocket 8-0 and Penobscot Valley of Howland 8-0.
