At Harrington, Missy Barbee drove in two runs with a bases-loaded double to highlight a four-run sixth inning that gave the Knights the win and avenged last year’s loss to the Blue Devils in the regional semifinal.
Amanda Barbee and Annie Woodsum also each provided RBI singles in the sixth inning. Ashley Woodward earned the win by allowing only two hits while striking out 16 and walking two. It was the second straight excellent performance for Woodward, who struck out 17 in her team’s win over Sumner of East Sullivan on Monday.
