ORONO – The Maine 4-H Japanese Exchange Program is offering opportunities for monthlong summer exchanges and yearlong high school exchanges.
Japanese children in the summer program arrive in mid-July and depart in mid-August. The students bring their own spending money and are insured. They have a desire to learn about life in America and to build English skills. Families do not need to be involved with 4-H to host. Homes are needed now for two boys, ages 16 and 12.
