Ellsworth’s junior tennis ace won four matches last week to help the top-ranked Eagles improve to 9-0.

Seth Gabarro, Foxcroft Academy’s junior first baseman has gone 9-for-15 in his last five baseball games with a home run, triple, double, six singles, and 11 RBIs.

Girls

Big School (Classes A-B)

Emily Capehart

The Bangor High senior took home eight individual wins at two track meets, sweeping the 300-meter hurdles, the 200, the long jump and the triple jump in meets at Ellsworth on May 3 and Bangor on May 7.

Small School (Classes C-D)

Amanda Fitzpatrick

Fitzpatrick, a sophomore second baseman on the Hodgdon softball team, led the Hawks in three wins, driving in a total of 19 RBIs on four home runs, four doubles, one triple and one single. She went 10-for-14 over the three wins.
