STANDISH – Ohio Dominican eked out a 10-inning win in the opener Thursday, then shut out Saint Joseph’s in the second game to win the NAIA Division II Super Regional.
Ohio Dominican won the first game 7-6 and the second 3-0.

In the opener, the Monks scored in the top of the ninth to tie, but the Panthers won it with a run in the 10th.
Patrick Ranalli doubled twice for the winners behind relief winner Chris Ofat.
Howard Rutherford led Saint Joseph’s with a homer, two singles, and two RBIs. Derek McIntosh and Jake Rodden had two singles each.
In the second game, Ofat pitched seven innings of one-hit ball. Jeff Kidd and Angel Lopez had two singles each.
McIntosh singled for the Monks’ only hit behind loser Greg Kimball.
