HOLE-IN-ONE

GUILFORD – John Warren of Dover-Foxcroft registered a hole-in-one Saturday at Piscataquis Country Club. Warren aced the 165-yard sixth hole using a 6-iron for his third career ace. The shot was witnessed by Brian Campbell, Carl Brackett and Becky Warren.

Charlie Grindle used a 7-iron to ace the 147-yard, par 3 third hole at Bucksport Golf Club on Friday. Jim Lyman, Tom Foley, and Bob Tapley witnessed Grindle’s first ever ace.
