PRESQUE ISLE – Women, Work and Community will sponsor a conference for women titled “Get a Financial Life” from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 1, on the Northern Maine Technical College Campus-Christie Building.

Enrollment will begin at 8 a.m. with continental breakfast and mid-morning snacks available.

Karin Anderson, executive director of the Maine Women’s Fund and a lifelong women’s activist, will present the keynote address at 8:30 a.m.

The public can preregister by contacting Women, Work and Community at 764-0050. Registration fee is $10, with scholarships available. Brochures are obtainable at selected sites throughout Aroostook County.
