UNITY – Dean Fuller of Albion started on the pole for the pro stock feature by virtue of pole-sitter Andy Saunders’ clutch problems and held on for a victory Saturday night at Unity Raceway.

Fuller would take advantage of the front starting spot by leading every lap. He was challenged by Bub Raven until a late-race caution where Matt Lee took second on the restart.

Lee kept the heat on Fuller, but Fuller held on for the win. Lee of Albion finished second, Raven of Thorndike was third, Steve Nelson of Albion was fourth and Kris Hoff of Orrington placed fifth.

Beech Ridge Motor Speedway

At Scarborough, Ryan Shepard of Naples won his second NASCAR Pro Series race from the pole Saturday night.

Lyman’s Alan Tardiff caught up to Shepard but was unable to pass. Tardiff had the faster car, but couldn’t find a way around Shepard. Tardiff finished second, Scarborough’s Richard Pelton finished third, Steve Carrier of Saco was fourth, and Gorham’s Dan McKeage was fifth.

At Hermon, Aaron St. Peter of Brewer passed leader Duane Seekins of Stockton Springs just before the checkered flag flew to take the feature win Sunday.

Andy Saunders of Ellsworth went on to finish second as Seekins had a right rear tire go flat as he finisheded third. Danforth’s Mike Kenney was fourth and Don Alexander Jr. of Levant finished fifth.
