How refreshing. A candidate for governor, Rep. John Baldacci, is doing the job he was elected to do. Not unexpectedly, he was criticized for it by Jonathan Carter. (Does Carter have a job?)
Baldacci’s absence from a candidate forum is much ado about nothing. He is doing exactly what the people elected him to do – attend to their business in Washington. I’m glad he was there to provide much-needed assistance to Maine farmers. While Carter is out spiking trees, our congressman is rolling up his sleeves and getting the job done.
Baldacci knows and understands this state like no other gubernatorial candidate. He is a tireless worker for the people and has brought millions of our tax dollars back to Maine for potato, blueberry and wood research. He stays in touch with the people of Maine. He travels home when Congress is out of session. He listens to our concerns and searches for solutions.
