SACO – A Biddeford man found unconscious at a motorcycle rally last weekend has died.
Police believe James Jackson, 36, was killed by a mix of prescription drugs and alcohol. He died at a Biddeford hospital Wednesday night, three days after he was found not breathing at the Weekend Behind the Barn.
Jackson was one of five men taken to area hospitals after police were called to the annual event to aid several unconscious bikers.
Police believe someone at the event was distributing a prescription tranquilizer called Klonopin, and Saco police Detective David Loranger said police are following up on leads to try to find the drug provider.
The Weekend Behind the Barn is a three-day festival. At its peak, there were 3,200 people in attendance.
