DEER ISLE – Hermena Beal hit two singles with three RBIs and Rachelle Parker drove in four runs and singles as the No. 6 Jonesport-Beals High softball team knocked off No. 3 Deer Isle-Stonington 15-13 Tuesday in a Class D Southeastern division quarterfinal.
Rachelle Parker had a single with four RBIs. Erin Church, Jody Pinkham, and Naomi Chandler each hit two singles with one RBI for Jonesport-Beals.
Heather Bray singled twice and drove in two runs. Meghan Wiberg and Roz Santospago each hit two singles with one RBI.

At Sherman Station, Angie Qualey and Krystle McMoarn combined on a three-hitter with nine strikeouts to lead the No. 2 Cougars.
Qualey added two singles, a double and an RBI. K.C. Duffy-Stanly added two singles and an RBI and Brandi Violette singled and scored twice for Katahdin. McMoarn had an RBI triple.
Kim Faulkner led No. 7 Greater Houlton Christian Academy with an RBI single that scored Danielle Kelly, who had doubled.

At Ashland, Pam Spooner allowed only three hits and struck out nine batters as the No. 4 Hornets picked up the win.
Pam Bennett hit a double and two singles with two RBIs. Amanda Martin had a double and a single with three RBIs. Kim Oakes hit a triple with three RBIs for Ashland.
Michelle Boutilier, Niki Lyons, and Meghan McLaughlin each singled for the No. 5 Warriors of Dyer Brook, who also took advantage of 12 walks.

At Woodland, Katie Smith spun a two-hitter, striking out five and walking two, and Tara Williams knocked in four runs with two singles and a sacrifice fly as No. 4 Woodland eliminated No. 5 Machias.
RBI singles by Katie Holmes and Kelsy Snowman keyed a five-run third inning that broke the game open. Holmes also had a double in the game and drove in three runs and Smith singled twice and had an RBI.
Amanda Thibodeau had a run-scoring single and Katie Stevens also singled for the Bulldogs.

Keely Sayers hit a solo home run in the third inning and also had a double, single and totaled three runs batted in. Brittney Guiou tripled and singled twice and Dani Searles had a double and an RBI for Fort Fairfield.
Nicole Corbin, Melanie Cyr, Danielle Gagnon and Micah Laplant singled for the Crusaders.

Anna Lenentine hit three singles and added two RBIs for Houlton. Vallerie Lenentine ripped a two-run single and Kasey Cleary chipped in with an RBI single.
Erin Lucey led Hermon with a two-run double. Shannon Wiggin and Melissa Hills each singled twice. Rachel Nightingale and Lauren Fournier hit an RBI single apiece.

At Husson College in Bangor, the Crusaders jumped out to a three-run lead and never looked back as Ada Athorp struck out seven batters and allowed one run to help lead No. 3 John Bapst to victory.
Amanda Sangillo paced John Bapst with three singles, a double, and five RBIs. Jill Mitchell and Alex Waring each knocked in three RBIs as Mitchell doubled three times and Waring singled and doubled twice. Nikki Novak added two doubles and two RBIs. Rebecca Stevens singled twice and doubled with an RBI for the Crusaders.
Amy Bouchard and Melissa Brisette each singled for No. 6 Caribou. Simone Willette scored on a wild pitch in the fourth inning.

Krystal Roberts roped two singles and knocked in a run for the No. 4 Eagles. Mallory Patten, Rebecca Saunders, Jody Merchant and Tess Miller had a single each.

Page had two singles to go with her triple and she had three RBIs. Brittany Damon had a double and a single and an RBI.

At Pittsfield, Jasmine Jones hit a line drive to center field in the ninth inning, driving in Kirsten Stevens to lift the No. 4 Huskies.
Stevens singled, stole second on the next pitch, and moved to third on Jesse Littlefield’s sacrifice bunt. Jones had two singles with two RBIs. Stevens hit a double, single, and scored all three of MCI’s runs.
Mandi Murray hit three singles and scored one run. Casey Snow had two singles, a double, and scored a run for No. 5 Foxcroft.

Terri Underhill had two singles with one RBI. Jess Kaelin and Nicole Labbe had the other two hits for the No. 6 Red Devils of Corinth.

Elise Dublin had three RBI singles for the Knights of Harrington and MaryEva Tenan hit a three-run triple. Brook Courchaine started the scoring on a 13-run fourth inning with an RBI single.
Krystal Stauffer hit a two-run home run for the Raiders.

Kylie McGinn had an RBI triple for Penobscot Valley and Randy Rackley doubled.
