MILLINOCKET – Amanda Fitzpatrick hit a two-run home run in the sixth inning and smacked a game-winning RBI triple in the seventh to lift No. 3 Hodgdon to an 11-9 win over No. 2 Stearns in a Class C Northeast Division semifinal softball game on Thursday.

MILLINOCKET – Amanda Fitzpatrick hit a two-run home run in the sixth inning and smacked a game-winning RBI triple in the seventh to lift No. 3 Hodgdon to an 11-9 win over No. 2 Stearns in a Class C Northeast Division semifinal softball game on Thursday.

Fitzpatrick also singled for Hodgdon. Sara Oliver singled twice. Sara Quint scored the winning run.

Casey Popp had a double and two singles for Stearns of Millinocket. Jordan Legassey and Holly Franck each hit two singles and a triple. Katie Jones hit two singles.

At Calais, Jamie Doliber and Jessica Whittaker each hit two singles and had two RBIs to help carry No. 3 Blue Devils past the No. 7 Tigers of East Sullivan.

Crystal Martin had three RBIs on two singles for Calais while Katie Frost struck out 10 and walked only three in six innings.

Rachel Philio had three singles and an RBI while Sandra Klausmeyer hit a double for Sumner.

At Madawaska, Erica Morrill hit a double and a single for the No. 5 Patriots as they knocked off the No. 1 Owls.

Arielle Sickler and Mindy Dyer each singled twice for Penquis of Milo behind winner Megan Russell, who scattered four hits.

Madawaska’s Sarah Dufour hit two singles with two RBIs. Kay Gerard singled twice.

At Harrington, the top-seeded Knights rallied for three runs in the bottom of the sixth to help Ashley Woodward win a pitchers’ duel over Sarah Clapp and the No. 4 Eagles of Blue Hill.

Woodward struck out 11 and walked one.

Brook Courchaine led off the sixth with a walk and Jen Strout reached on a bunt single and advanced to second on a throwing error. Freshman Elise Dublin doubled to left field, plating Courchaine and Strout. Dublin scored on an Erica Mann sacrifice fly.

Clapp pitched a three-hitter, striking out 10 and walking two. She scored in the first when she walked, stole second and third, and came home on a passed ball.

At South Paris, Jessie Dennis hit two singles and pitched a one-hit shutout, striking out six batters and walking none, to lead the No. 1 Vikings to the win.

Kyla Decato hit two doubles and a single for Oxford Hills while Allyson Craibe and Natasha Dubois added two singles apiece.

Laura Briggs was the lone hitter for Medomak Valley of Waldoboro with a single.

At Houlton, Jen Cummings’ sacrifice fly to left scored Autumn Hendricks from third base with one out in sixth inning as No. 4 Huskies upset the top-seeded Shiretowners.

Hendricks had a double and a single for Maine Central Institute of Pittsfield.

Kasey Cleary and Alyssa Foster each hit two singles for Houlton.

Linda Horak hit a double and a single for Erskine. Brittany Oxley had a single and an RBI. Karla Emerson and Cally Thomas each singled.

Loser Morgan Crandall tripled and scored on a wild pitch in the first for Belfast.

At Lee, Shelby Pickering hit a grand slam in the third inning to help No. 1 Lee hold off No. No. 4 Woodland.

Brittany Mallett had a double and two singles for the Pandas while Ashley Linscott and Katie Harris hit two singles apiece.

Tara Williams had two doubles and a single with one RBI for the Dragons. Katie Holmes and Beth Covey rapped two singles apiece.

Bubar pitched a one-hitter with one strikeout and one walk. She also homered and singled. Brittney Guiou hit a homer and a single with two RBIs and Terri Lynch drove in two runs on two singles.

Kim Oakes singled for the No. 4 Hornets.
