Top three priorities if elected:
. Economic development – I will fight for comprehensive development and for an educated work force, free from domestic violence, with affordable health care and housing.
. Education – I pledged to cap my congressional salary and contribute the surplus to scholarships for Maine students. I will fight in Congress for our teachers and students.
. Terrorism and unilateralism – President Bush’s bloated military budget will not prevent future terrorism. I will take a leadership role in promoting effective security and international engagement.
