. Taxes: Maine’s punitive tax system drives opportunities away. Maine needs a solid Republican voice articulating a lower-tax, less-government message.

. Transportation: Maine ranks 48th in federal investment per mile of federal highway. I will push to be on the Transportation Committee and fight for our fair share.

. Telecommunications: We must forge a rural coalition to bring technology into rural America. My experience in the high-tech field will benefit Maine’s future.
