The Plantations Junior Golf Tour has selected Jesse Speirs of Bangor to its 14- and 15-year-old Junior All-American First Team.

Criteria for All-American status includes overall stroke average, best four rounds against the field, 10 percent of ranking points, stroke average for best eight rounds, and number of masters won.

Speirs was selected from among 295 boys in his age division. He had a total of seven first-place, three third-place, three fourth place and five sixth place finishes, three of which were masters.
