PRESQUE ISLE – The Aroostook Medical Center Women’s Health Center is sponsoring a free presentation titled, “Symbol of Hope: Lymphedema Prevention and Treatment,” and a luncheon from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, June 28, at the University of Maine at Presque Isle Campus Center, Allagash Room.

The luncheon is intended to honor breast cancer survivors, those in treatment for breast cancer, and their health care providers.

Jennifer Waddell, physical therapist and certified lymphedema therapist, will lead the discussion on lymphedema prevention, symptoms, and therapy options. Complimentary educational materials will be provided to each attendee.

Preregistration prior to June 20 is required to ensure a seat and lunch, as space is limited. Call the TAMC Women’s Health Center at 769-6636.
