I was appalled when I read an article in which a pathologist stated that Logan Marr died from a seizure rather than suffocation (BDN, June 15-16). If so, to be bound with duct tape over her mouth would be enough for any child to have seizure. But I don’t believe this theory. To me, she was murdered, plain and simple. Sally Schofield should be held accountable by being incarcerated for life.
I am disgusted to pick up the newspaper and read day after day that a child or baby has been murdered by a parent or caretaker. No way should these people have a slap on the wrist with a few years in prison. If so, society is saying these precious little ones’ lives are worth nothing and the justice system will have failed them miserably.
