Bangor police arrested Stanley C. Davis, 42, of 64 Center St. on Tuesday night at his home after he allegedly threatened to shoot his roommate.
According to police, Davis accused his female roommate of “nagging” him about another female she had found with him in the apartment. He then allegedly threatened to “put a bullet” in the head of his roommate. When questioned, Davis denied he had made the statement but said he did have the “power” to shoot somebody, according to the police report.
A handgun, two magazines of 9 mm bullets, a shotgun and a rifle were taken from the apartment, and Davis was taken to Penobscot County Jail.
Old Town police arrested Eric Simcock on charges of domestic assault after an argument with his wife Thursday night.
A resident of Wadleigh’s Trailer Park on Stillwater Avenue, Simcock and his wife were arguing in front of the couple’s three children when he allegedly grabbed her by the face and pushed her into a refrigerator, police said. Simcock was then arrested and taken to Penobscot County Jail.
