Brewer eventually left the property but returned minutes later, running across the lawn and banging on doors and screaming for “Tom” before police arrested him.

Heat is believed to be the cause of what police initially believed to be vandalism in Hampden, police said.
Police were called to a Town Farm Road home Sunday morning when a man found that one of the side windows to his Ford pickup was broken out, Hampden police Sgt. Dan Stewart said. Officials, however, believe that a buildup of heat inside the truck overnight caused the window to explode.
The man told police he had parked the vehicle the night before with the windows rolled up, Stewart said. All of the glass was found outside the vehicle.
