PRESQUE ISLE – The public is invited to attend a memorial service for Dr. Naveed Farooki to be held at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, at the University of Maine Presque Isle Campus Center.

Farooki, a well-known ear, nose, and throat specialist in The County, was killed in a recent automobile accident in Bridgewater.

He was on the medical staff at The Aroostook Medical Center, Cary Medical Center, Northern Maine Medical Center, Houlton Regional Hospital, and Millinocket Regional Hospital.
