ELLSWORTH – The Grand Auditorium will hold its annual School for the Performing Arts. The camp, now in its sixth year, will offer a three-week performing arts school designed for students ages 10 to 15.
Classes will include acting, dance, voice, art, performance, steel drum instruction and a new class, stomp percussion, with Liberty School professor Thomas Wubbenhorst.
The school will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday-Friday, July 9-July 26.
The staff includes Bill Raiten of the New Surry Theatre, who will teach acting; Maureen Robinson from the Robinson Ballet Company, who will teach dance; Luke Abrahamson, who will instruct the students in steel drum performance, and Wubbenhorst, who will teach stomp percussion.
