RUMFORD – A 46-year-old Rumford woman was killed Wednesday when her car crossed into the path of an oncoming pickup truck on U.S. Route 2, police said.
Rumford police Sgt. Stacy Carter said the accident occurred at 6:30 p.m. but would not release the victim’s name until her family had been notified.
Carter said a Rumford man and his 13-year-old daughter, whom he declined to identify, were in the pickup and were taken to Rumford Hospital.
