BANGOR – The United States Department of Agriculture has awarded a grant of $456,944 to the University of Maine to support the Cross-Border Curricular Programs in International Environmental and Agribusiness Management.
The funding is being made available through the USDA’s Challenge Grants Program, according to U.S. Rep. John Baldacci, who announced the award.
The funding “will support important environmental and agribusiness research,” Baldacci said in a press release. “These resources will strengthen and expand the university’s overall research efforts.”
