Farmington native Kevin Eastler captured the Bronze Medal in the 20K racewalk at the U.S. National Track and Field Championships at Stanford University on June 23. The finish qualified him for the World Cup of Racewalking in Turkey. The race was won by Olympian Tim Seamon, whose junior 10K record was smashed by former Ellsworth High star Ben Shorey. Shorey was named the Verizon Athlete of the Day in the Junior Competition.
