BARING – The staff at Moosehorn National Wildlife Refuge is planning an evening of wildlife viewing and refuge history.

A tour is planned (rain or shine) at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, July 13. It will depart from the refuge headquarters parking lot and last about an hour.

Moosehorn was established in 1937 as a refuge and breeding ground for migratory birds, endangered species and other wildlife. Staffers say the tour may allow a chance to see bald eagles, black bears, loons and American woodcock.

Reservations are required by 3:30 p.m. Friday, July 12.
