ROCKLAND – The Farnsworth Art Museum and Wyeth Center has scholarships available for children attending the museum’s summer classes and workshops. The scholarships are designed to assist families that want to enroll children ages 2-12 in Farnsworth summer art classes and for children who would like to attend more than one class.
Classes include one- to three-day workshops. Wee Artist Workshops for children ages 2-4 will be held in both July and August. Mini-Campers for children ages 5-7 will be held July 8-11. Two Russian culture immersion workshops, one for children ages 6-8 and one for children 9-12, will be held Aug. 5-9. Classes also are planned for children ages 7-9, including Art Exploration Cart, July 29-31; The Colossal Neighborhood, July 12-14, Drawing and Painting I, July 8-11; and Drawing and Painting II, July 22-25. Children ages 8-12 may take Victorian Life, July 8-10, and children ages 9-12 may sign up for Art Exploration Cart, July 20-31; Drawing and Painting I, Aug. 12-15; and Drawing and Painting II, Aug. 19-22.
