BAR HARBOR – Seaira Robinson smacked two home runs and two singles to lead Sunrise of Milbridge to a 27-2 District I Little League softball All-Star tournament win over Acadian on Monday.
Lona Sargeant pitched a one-hitter for Sunrise. Nicole Sargeant hit three triples and a home run. Morgan Traxler added a triple, double and a single, Nicole Ball singled twice and Mandy Ostberg tripled.
Emma Damon singled for Acadian.

At Calais, Courtney Ayers rapped a single and a double and drove in two runs to pace Calais.
Brooke Winchester and Stephanie Perry each singled and knocked in two runs for Calais.
Megan Look stroked two singles and had two RBIs and Hannah Beal singled in a run for Machias.

At Bangor, Erica Tweedie and Kristin Parker belted back-to-back triples in the five-run fourth inning that broke the game open.
Tweedie knocked in a pair of runs with her triple and scored on Parker’s triple.
Tweedie also homered and singled in the game and drove in four runs. Parker had a double and a single to go with her triple and had three RBIs; winning pitcher Erin Dean delivered three runs with two doubles and a single and Courtney Stevenson had three singles.
Tanna Jellison’s two doubles, two singles and two RBIs led Orono-Veazie and Amy Wadleigh had four singles.

At Hodgdon, Jon Doughty held Border to only two hits, two walks, and no runs on nine strikeouts through four innings for Glenburn-Leavant.
Jonathon Gagnon hit a triple and a double with three RBIs for Glenburn-Leavant. Miles Gagnon and J Spencer each singled to knock in two runs. Andrew Casey had a RBI double.
Josh Lenentine and Cody Watton both had a single to provide the hitting for Border.

At Hermon, Caleb Smith scattered eight hits to pick up the complete-game win and he aided his own cause with a double as Orrington eliminated Hermon.

Kevin Tarr tripled and doubled for Hermon while Paul Miller and Josh Curtis each singled twice.
